Aaron has extensive experience planning and delivering projects with a focus on co-creation.
He has had the privilege of working with all aspects of the community, with a real interest in targeting under represented groups, especially those at risk from exclusion from the arts.
His work with emerging artists has seen him work with theatre organisations as well as drama schools to generate new initiatives for writers, and actors. As well as deliver and direct on their acting programs.
He previously worked with Bristol Old Vic Theatre School to deliver the MA in Directing. As well as working as the Associate Director for Prime Theatre where he ran the youth theatre, facilitating and directing projects.
He was an Associate Artist with Travelling Light Theatre Company, working with their youth theatre, and delivering on their schools programs, as well as developing new ways of co-creation between young people and artists.
He works with the learning department at the RSC which has seen him work across the UK, and internationally to deliver a variety of projects. His particular interest is on developing work around representation in Shakespeare's cannon, especially in relationship to social justice. He also sits on a steering group focusing on new research in the role of arts in education.
